photoshop fun...

This is that happy wee pattern i made in CAD. I am quite happy with it as it is the very first of my own patterns i have made. I chose my theme of Blue Tits, i didn't see that bird often and have discovered that a group of them live in the trees across the road from my house. They are a cute bird!
So i changed a photograph of the bird and scanned in some very yellow leafs that i found on the way to Uni. FUN!
I hope you like my pattern

Freshers outcome

The freshers Challenge!! Towed the end of Freshers week thous of us who were not too exhausted took part in the challenge to make an outfit on a theme, the theme our group chose was Glam Vamp. although we only had just over a day to work on the mini project i think we managed to present a finished looking outfit. We created our outfit with burnt newspaper and scraps of material. Each group had an individual idea and the results were great! The first and second images you see are from my group

The final Image is a group shot, as you can see many different ideas were created!

First finds

This is Ell a sculpture student ECA (Edinburgh collage of art) she was wondering the streets of Edinburgh on the fringe festival. She stood out to me so i asked her politely if i could take a photo of her outfit, she was happy to oblige.
I liked her outfit because of the contrast of black mass that she is wearing with the feathered shrug and the fluffy shoes.
Her feathered shrug was something passed onto her from a member of family and her shoes from eBay!

Harajuku love

Nice looks!
My love of fashion started with an enthusiastic like interest for Japan. I was absorbed by the utter contrast in lifestyle, tradition, language and fashion. This then almost obsession leads to one of Japan’s very popular Harajuku street fashion which I instantly fell in love with. This style is completely different to anything i had ever seen and was great to view. The outrageous and flamboyant would dress in every colour of the rainbow or the opposite Like the gothic doll Lolita. The people who dress in the Harajuku style are really not shy to show off what they think looks good. When they choose a theme they go all out to look the best with their clothing, makeup, hair, jewellery and other accessories! Some items of clothing would be homemade or straight out of a shop but I feel I can safely say that no one ever looks totally the same. I found these books fresh fruits which is a photo collection of many different people dressed in fantastic way. I never got bored looking through it! Not only does this style inspire me to bring colour into what I wear I would also like to try and find my own Harajuku on the streets in Europe. So throughout this blog, I may post photos that I have taken or come across of people (with their consent) that look more interesting to me in.

The image is from the fresh fruits books.
